Hand Access Laparoscopic Colon & Rectal Workshop

This intensive one-day course is designed for general and colorectal surgeons familiar with laparoscopic techniques who wish to explore a hand access laparoscopic approach to colon surgery.  The program is limited to nine surgeons to maximize the hands on experience in a cadaver lab.  The course will cover intestinal anatomy as it related to HALS resection; oncologic principles of HALS intestinal resection; bowel mobilization and devascularization; anastomotic techniques; and hand access laparoscopic techniques.
