Advanced Laparoscopic Preceptorships

These 1-2 day programs are designed to provide practicing general surgeons with in-depth exposure to advanced techniques in minimally invasive surgery.  The curriculum of each program is structured around the needs of each surgeon and is usually divided into four phases:

• Introduction & Background
• Indications for Surgery
• Operative Techniques / Video Review / Avoiding Complications
• Clinical Experience in the Operating Room - As Available
• Question and Answer
